I've only skipped one or two NBA 2k games going back literally ten or eleven years. I understand how basketball should be played. This is the only game I am really that good at. I can already see I'll need to score 20-25 off the bench, or 45 ppg as a starter to get wins because no one else wants to score.Īnd I'm extremely good at this game. The AI is inept, to the point that the game mode is useless.
I don't remember if this was in NBA 2k, but if it was please put it back in. There used to be a button in some basketball game to tell your teammate to shoot. This was a problem on PS4's NBA 2k14 as well, but this year it's three times as bad.Īnd your teammates always pass you back the ball. Players don't recognize the direction I want them to go in when I pass it to them. My teammate will begin to cut from the post out to the top of the key, and I'll pass assuming he's going outwards, but he just stops so the pass gets intercepted. I see people on my team sagging off and offering me help defense when they shouldn't be, leading to open baskets for the opposing team. Scrubs on the opposing team make incredible shots. Meanwhile, the other team needs to be guarded with God-like precision to keep them hovering at about a team FG% of 50%, usually more (which is ridiculous). Every game I pass the ball to guys who are open from 3, who never take the shot.
I play as a pass-first, Jason Kidd style point guard. Every single year the M圜areer mode is broken.
